Music Account Setup Guide

Welcome! This guide will walk you through requesting and setting up your music account so you can stream our music library on your phone or computer.

Pre-requisites

  • A username you would like to use (simple and identifiable)
  • An email you can access — same as your other accounts

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Request Your Account

  1. Send your chosen username to the Admin.
  2. The Admin will create your account and generate a password for you.
  3. Please wait until the Admin confirms your account is ready and gives you your password.

Step 2: Log In Through the Dashboard

🏠 Why the dashboard? We are centralizing all services so that everything is accessed through one place: https://dash.prestunes.casa

💻 On a Computer:

  1. Go to the dashboard: https://dash.prestunes.casa
  2. Click the Music service.
  3. Enter your username and the generated password.

Step 3: Change Your Password

  1. Click the icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Select "User".
  3. Enter your new password and save.

🔒 Password Tips: Choose a strong, memorable password and keep it confidential. This is important so your password is not floating around in messages.

Please do not share your account with others — they can request their own account the same way.

Mobile App Setup (Phones) 📱

Phones should listen through one of these apps — both use your same username and password. This is also how phones avoid getting banned by the server's protections.

Option A: Symfonium (Recommended)

It does cost $9. There is a free trial, but if you are unwilling to pay for the app, please skip to Option B, and use Substreamer

  1. Install Symfonium from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open the app and tap "Add a Server".
  3. Choose Navidrome / Subsonic as the server type.
  4. Enter the following:
    • Name: Oreo Music (any name you like)
    • Address: https://music.prestunes.casa:8446 — be sure to include the :8446!
    • Username: your username
    • Password: your password
  5. Tap Connect / Log In — your library will sync automatically.
  6. ⭐ Optional: Enable offline caching in Settings to download music for listening without internet.

Option B: Substreamer (Free)

  1. Install Substreamer from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open the app and tap "Add Server" on the welcome screen.
  3. Enter exactly:
    • Host/URL: https://music.prestunes.casa:8446 (with the port!)
    • Username: your username
    • Password: your password
  4. Tap Sign In — done!

⚠️ Troubleshooting Note: If the app says "connection failed," double-check that you included :8446 and that the address starts with https://. If it still fails, contact the Admin.

iPhone/iPad Users 🍎

Substreamer is also available on iOS! The setup is identical: install from the App Store, add the app address above, and log in with your username and password.

🚫 Never Use :8446 in a web browser, or use music.prestunes.casa (without the port) in an app

Using the wrong address can get you banned — when in doubt, ask the Admin.
